Pachypodium

This Pachypodium lealii generously contributed by a fellow Malaysian. It seem to grow in seasons, alternately losing its leaves, then growing new ones. The specimen has put out stalks of red buds every so often (usually around February -- spring in the northen hemisphere) but the buds never seem to fully open.

More pictures of this Pachypodium lealii specimen (with flower buds) can be found on the Pachypodium Flowers Page.
