Graptopetalum

This is a Graptopetalum. Not sure exactly which species this one it is, but I suppose it is a Graptopetalum by virtue of its pointy leaves arranged in a rosette.

Graptopetalums are not as popular in Malaysia as Aeoniums.

This is my one and only species of Graptopetalum. I got it from a fellow collector in Melaka. Like most rosette-shaped succulents, Graptopetalum is easy to propagate: simply detach a leaf and leave it someplace. A plantlet will form at the base of the leaf.
The leaf itself will shrink and dry up as it is absorbed by the plantlet. One does not even have to use soil or sand. Reddish aerial roots will be produce if no growing medium is used.
