So far, I've owned only one Cotyledon plant, a Cotyledon undulata. I believe it is quite an easy plant to grow. However, I managed to kill this plant with a bout of neglect. One thing's for sure, if you are in a dusty urban environment, succulents can sometimes die quite fast if they are neglected.
| ||The picture shows a plantlet sprouting from old leaves of the dead plant. If you place Cotyledon leaves on soil for propagation, offsets are not produced. Instead, plantlets appear from the base of the old leaves. This is the common mode of propagation for succulents that is shaped like a rosette. |
