Early Collection Pictures

These are some early pictures of my collection. These are dated July 1998.

The pictures are a bit blurry, I will make better versions later. Still, a number of grafted Gymnocalycium mihanovichii mutants on Myrtillocactus geometrizans are visible. Also visible are a few Rebutias (picture at left) and lots of Mammillaria prolifera (picture at right).

More pictures from July 1998. In the picture on the left, there are two Mammillarias, one Gymnocalycium, one Echinopsis, one Matucana, and one Melocactus. In the next picture, there is a Melocactus, one mutant graft, and several pots of what seem to be seedlings from my Succseed batch of seeds.

Two mutant grafts are visible in the first picture, as is one Opuntia microdasys. The yellow graft is a mutant Gymnocalycium denudatum. The next picture is a wider angle view of one of my small shelters.

This is a small portable shelter I made while I was in Melaka. It was made to house small specimens in 2" pots and seedlings.

In the upper level of the shelter, seedlings and small grafts are visible. There are some cuttings potted up in soil too. The blue-green stems are all Myrtillocactus geometrizans.
